Although Suncoast Fiji boasts some of Fiji’s most pristine seascapes, such as those on Nananu-i-Ra, like many beaches around the world we still get the occasional piece of rubbish and waste washed up with the tide from time to time, and from who knows where.
Part of our environmental pledge as good corporate citizens is to continually ‘do-our-bit’ and one of our pro-active members, RA DIVERS FIJI, spent a few hours leading by example and giving Kontiki Beach on Nananu-i-Ra Island a bit of a spruce-up yesterday.
And as a SUPER PLEASING bit of news this solitary flip-flop, jandle or thong, depending on where in the world you are from, was the only piece of ‘non-natural’ debris we found………so, if you have lost one we may have it here for you!!!
